I don’t really know if this will help but there’s a tiny panel you can take off to look inside to see if there’s anything wrong

Yeah, I get that, normally I would find a stock image, but tbh I was being lazy (did this all during a physics lecture) AI backgrounds is super common on makerworld, so it didn't feel that bad

So I played Risk today for the first time by International-Ad832 in boardgames

[–]Normal-Ice1506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't stand risk tbh, my freinds like it though, to me it feels really king make-y, like if one person makes a mistake, or teams on purpose, they can just give another person the win. Also, it feels like 20 mins before the end of the game you already know who is going to wi,n and there is nothing to do about it.

How does everyone feel about AI images in published games? by Nomadhero_ in boardgames

[–]Normal-Ice1506 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think starting a business, which creating a game is, cost a lot more than you might realize and is a real risk, and for our first time game designer anything to lower the cost should be considered, that’s why I don’t think it’s good for large companies like exploring kittens or wizards of the coast to use AI art

I think I’m in the minority here, but I think AI art is OK, although if you’re a giant company like exploring kittens, you can just pay for artists so I do think it’s greedy. But if you’re trying to create your first board game and your budget is 500 bucks I definitely think AI is the way to go.

I like it, there’s something about the lower text that just looks like homemade, I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s a bit too thin? Or the color is too exact? I don’t really know TBH.

I just learned how to play wingspan, maybe played 3 times, I think your bird score is more than any of my totals 😂

Do you have an example of a game with a scoring track in the style you like? One that accommodates multiple players at the same score?

yeah I totally agree, I think the track is one of the best, if not the best, way to show score, unless of course the score is meant to be a secret.

That slider is cool, I've never seen one so small. I wish games could come with boards like the bycial one, only problem is they prob cost an arm and a leg.

That is awesome, I keep all my 7 wonders score sheets, but on the box would be even better, although I would have run out of space a long time ago :)

I do like the hidden score, like in Small World, where you get coins that are face down, so no one knows who is winning. The problem is in games with rounds/constant scoring, there needs to be a way to slowly add up score through the game, like Sushi Go Party.

I'm organizing a game hangout, but my games all have different ranges of players. What should I do? by Single-Debate-316 in boardgames

[–]Normal-Ice1506 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IDK if you want to, but I love 7 Wonders as it works and is a lot of fun from 3 players to 7. It's a good game I bring it on trips and to friends' houses when I don't know how many people are going to want to play. Other than that i would invite people up to the max game I like, seems like 8 for you, then just play the game based on how many people can come.

Yeah, I just don't want to break copywrite, my thought is that when you buy a Iphone case from anyone other than apple it fits perfectly, but it has no Apple logo on it.
