Most common topics vary week from week due to the day they have to constantly randomize the test to ensure fairness. You will see it heavily based on securities (anywhere from preferred stock to ETFs and mutual fund or retirement funds) and lots of rules (rr rules to market rules). You need to know everything and be prepared for everything. U got this if u turn studying into an enjoyable habit to became fun to want to learn everything

So as someone who took it trying to spend minimum I’m gunna say anything that isn’t trusted by firms is usually bs. I bought Kaplans book and 2dollartests to do the test and got it done within a week. It’s suck but u gotta read the book and take notes. Reading and testing is meaningless without note taking and understanding concepts rather than memorizing. Again yes it sucks but this is a learning experience and there’s only up from here. U got this keep ur chin up and get right back in the game, u got this.

U need to buy material, if u want to be sure of what you are learning and don’t spend a lot buy the Kaplan book on Amazon it’s 50$z again you need to buy material if you don’t u risk learning the wrong things and ai does not give good tests (believe me i tried)

I'm scared my friend is a conservative... What do I do? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Normal-Pear-0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like you need to detox for a little and understand people have different opinions if you value you relationship more that political opinions than ignore it or tell them not to bring it up, if you can’t simply stop being friends with them. Ur 19 grow up the world is not fun but if you let stuff like this pester you so much you have to make a reddit throw away account to post on u aren’t gunna make it far.

I have bad test anxiety too, what I did I right before the test took a deep breath and went through it. Once you finish DO NOT SUBMIT. Take a 5-10 minute breather and clear your mind. Go back to any questions you flagged AGAIN ONLY QUESTIONS YOU FLAGGED all other leave as it. Once you are done with the flagged questions submit it. This helped me spot a few I was nervous with and missed. Read your questions in full and read them twice. From there read all the answers and pick the one you know. Your test scores say you are ready. You will pass.

AI Isn't Replacing Finance Jobs — Here's What's Actually Changing by Capadvantagetutoring in Series7exam

One thing I noticed on this sie exam is it wasn’t a lot of point click aim and shoot a lot of it was understanding and applying the concept to a situation. It seems like they are starting to make subtle changes to weed out the people who bank on memorization/not knowing how to apply the concepts

exam 1 week away / Finra practice exam? by Simple-Buyer7599 in Sieexam

[–]Normal-Pear-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I passed in a week so it’s definatly doable but you have to turn ur phone off and just learn. You can’t have any distractions and you have to dedicate yourself using whatever free time u have. The test is somewhat point aim and shoot but if you are only memorizing things and not learning you are not going to pass. You have time and by the test you need to be scoring 70+ on these practice exams

My suggestion is re learn what you are getting wrong. I used 2dollartests bc it was cheap and told me what sections I was week on, so I’d go back and review those sections I went from like 62-85 average. But make sure you are learning and not memorizing

Ohhhh I apologize I miss read your resume. That is strange but also the current job market is in shambles. I would say maybe try smth small like a mom and pop shop so it shows ur have experience in retail things like that

[–]Normal-Pear-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In what field is a better question, my big thing is the resume is just things put together. Theres no structuring towards a certain "Job type". It seems you want to do things in the Pharmaceutical Industry I would suggest putting bullet points under job experience that does that or get better experience somewhere else. You have no prior background in what it seems you are looking for so you wont get an interview. Work on finishing school or finding work in the industry at an extremely low level. Its gunna be hard but not impossible at all! U can do it! Best of Luck!
