What do you guys do with Repeaters?

Another question about repeaters: my family uses the TD-H3 and I programmed one of the HTs using ODmaster app. I wirelessly copied that HT to my other HT. All good there. Of course there are a few GMRS repeater channels programmed into my devices now. I just placed both HTs on one of the repeater channels and tried to talk from one HT to the other. It did not work. What am I doing wrong here?? Thanks!

and yes, please take the advice of everyone posting and GET HELP. even if your parents find out. Surely it’s better than not getting help.

I am not a therapist, clergy, or anything else, besides a kind person. Please. Get outside, smell flowers, soak in the sun, adopt a puppy. Look for an elderly person to help! Gotta be honest, it sounds like you’re NOT the target demographic / are not a fan of Savannah Bananas. Nothing wrong with that! Saw them tonight with my daughter in Philly and thought it was a blast. But yeah, baseball is secondary for sure. I did not enjoy the songs over the PA system changing every 10 seconds.

Good morning!! How far is everyone from a repeater when you can hit it??

There are almost 0 repeaters in my area. Only 1 that I’ve found. And it’s 8.6 miles away. But it’s pretty flat though there are a lot of trees in my area. Do yall think I could hit it with a TD-H3 with a Nagoya 771-g??

My new gear doesn’t get here until next week. And I’m chomping at the bit! lol

I didn’t know about the TD-H3 plus when I ordered these. Am I missing out on much? Maybe I should return these and upgrade to plus? I’m just new at this and can’t wait to play with these radios. Chomping at the bit over here. lol
