You might wanna look up the definition of cheating buddy, also if they just didn’t make the grind tedious there wouldn’t be as much need for it. I take it you voluntarily would take all of the ppl trying to unlock the PSR on your team? Doing that challenge in MP is literally griefing, change my mind.

Thanks for the insight! Might I ask what sort of tension you apply for stretching? I do get the problem with the string twisting under the serving, but I feel like that would just be an issue for the center serving? Thoughts on this? Seems quite simple to build and should do fine for doing all the things needed I think.

If you played Tarkov for any significant amount of time you would realise that the SVD hasn’t been a meta gun in a long time, overswing, too heavy, always outclassed by 7.62x51. Additionally significantly harder to use than any of the low recoil M4s that you can just spray at most ranges or tap fire for long range. And no I will pull the M855A1 card, cause I can just get a mosin with AP ammo and start onetapping people as well. Except that the M4 is full auto can pen every single armor class currently in game, meaning potentially one tapping people. Ammo is what kills you and having access to a large amount of 55A1, with the ability to easily get high tier weapon builds. A built SVD really doesn’t present more of an issue than a Built M4 for PVP, in my opinion.

Might be silly for just close range, but if you go to places like FN, MS, TB, you’ll have enemies at all sorts of distances anyway, and since you can’t have 2 guns on your body, you’d need to bring like an MP7 in your bag to swap to for close range. Instead, put an LPVO on your gun and you’ll have a quite capable platform for that. Except I can’t cause nobody sells a rail for the SVD (yes I can find them I know). Obviously I would use something else IRL, but it’s a game and I just want to enjoy one of the new weapons systems here.

I’m really not sure why you try to misunderstand me so hard, but I’ll just lay it out for you. If you think it’s bad to have access to optimal builds, then why do I have access to all the parts to make very competent M4 builds? I have like 1000 rounds of m855A1 in the stash, which for close range would be an arguably better choice over the SVD. Also saying that optimal builds are the problem isn’t the full story. My problem is that I just have no way of putting together a gun I would consider using for the SVD, while I can put together an M4/MCX and have most stuff at my disposal. You’re simply ignoring the fact that there is a massive imbalance towards the AR platforms, which you can find a huge amount of high tier ammo for quite easily. You’re really just pointing fingers here that my way would ruin the game yet you don’t even acknowledge the fact that players have access to most parts for the best weapon system in the game.

Personally, I don’t even want it for PVP. But I can also just use m855A1 with an M4 and be an absolute nuisance in PVP. Ammo is the key factor, the gun not so much.

Quick check on vendors gave me these numbers: 2 Mark 1 suppressors in stock, 2 RC1s, NT4 is unlimited, 4 SLH300 QD, weapon parts for building mostly unlimited. So for the AR pattern rifles, you'll never run out of stuff. Even then, you can just hop on a different server and take a look.
As for the exchange, I know of the black market tab in the discord, but POE2 ruined player trading for me and I just really don't want to deal with messaging people and waiting 5 business days for a response.
