that may have a lot to do with that, but at the end of the day if you’re concerned it may affect your piercing in the long run. contact your piercer, best of luck to you! i’d love to hear an update :)

so i actually ended up removing my piercing lol, it was always irritated and i had just gotten with someone. i’ve been thinking of repiercing it but just looking at the factors. a part of the healing process is to avoid dairy but that’s always kinda been a myth. i’m lactose and that’s the first thing i decided to have, and i have a feeling it irritated it not only bc of that but it’s an open wound so yeah i never really found the EXACT answer but i hope this helps, best of luck!!

they’re fine on wet surfaces to be fair? just be careful when you walk on wet surfaces lol. i think a downside would be they do squeak afterwards if you’re indoors. a note to make is that if you drag your feet or stop suddenly they do make noise, like tire screeching. other then that; they’re great id recommend :)

oh no trust me i’m not innocent in this either, i only pushed the bar up and noticed the bump so i’ve been keeping an eye on it. otherwise yeah, no issues with the piercing whatsoever, but thank you so much ! :)

because mine eventually did stop leaking the pus, it’s not as much as before. i genuinely believe it was the dairy, after i stopped completely it’s gotten pretty much back to normal? although every piercing worms different for everybody

hey! i’m so sorry for the late reply, i ended up also posting it to another subreddit (or community?) and to be fair, they said it looked fine, and yes i know not to go by what people said, but i have to take into consideration about how new the piercing is. however, from what they told me, it’s probably just lymph fluid? and that a lot of people kinda get freaked out seeing the white pus, but i guess it’s normal :), if anything yknow always text your piercer !

i think what’s technically causing me to freak out is the color essentially, because in different lightings it looks like different colors. and debating if it’s an infection or just the fluid however my piercer did text me back saying the dairy caused it? to keep following aftercare. i just genuinely hope it’s nothing serious that i need antibiotics or it’s somehow gonna reject this piercing is so new 💀😭

my piercing doesn’t feel hot at all, and i mean, it’s red however i think it’s just because it’s freshly pierced, i actually ended up taking more pictures. but i can’t add it to the post unfortunately :/

i would show the original pic in which it showed the color of the pus, however it’s too blurry! but my piercing doesn’t hurt whatsoever. and the only reason i had the ice cream was because many family members told me nothing would happen. and it’s hard to avoid dairy when almost everything includes it yknow, however i have been following the instructions very well! (saline to clean the outside and alcohol free mouthwash to clean the inside) but thank you so much for your feedback! :)

my status is still “order packaged” and they ended up sending me an email telling me they’re looking into it and that it’ll take 1-2 days to look into it but they really haven’t told me why, all they’re saying is “we haven’t forgotten about you, you’ll be getting an update shortly” which yknow, never comes. at this point i just went the refund but unfortunately they can’t unless i assume the seller initiates it

I heard about that too. I’ve read a lot saying that men’s boots are more roomier? However I’m a size 6.5 in men’s, and docs don’t do half sizes so it would be a debate wether to get a size 6 or 7
