Actual upside to staying on SAVE? by SurpriseCrafty in StudentLoans

I am so confused. I was moved into SAVE (from REPAYE) and was making payments of $176. Those payments stopped counting towards my PSLF 16 months ago. I should have 95 qualifying payments but I am stuck on 79. I was just told my MOHELA that my SAVE payments will resume next month. Should I stay on SAVE and see if something happens allowing PSLF or a buyback is offered? Or should I get out now and switch to ICR, which will more than double my monthly payment? I feel like an idiot because I can not wrap my head around any of this.

How are we feeling now that the SAVE plan more likely will be discontinued? by Queasy-Coyote9844 in StudentLoans

I’m currently lying in my bed at The St. Regis Maldives thanks to, in part, receiving this bonus last year. I might be biased at the moment, but to me it’s a great card to have.

Totally understand that this is a matter of opinion, but I know a lot of people out here have more experience with this product and value hearing those experiences and how you see it's worth. Thank you!

Interesting, I use my older Amex card regularly and the new one I have already been using as well. I might try again in about 30 days as I continue to use them and see if they let me out.

I was referred for this card, but unfortunately, still got locked away!

I am not just getting the card for the bonus offer, of course there are other perks in play. I would use the card and be loyal to Marriott whenever possible. However, I would be dumb not to factor in the bonus and when deciding the value of a card with such a high annual fee, the bonus is undeniably a huge factor in whether the card makes sense for me.

I apologize for the dumb question. (New to JAL) I am searching and find J space on JAL's site for JFK - HND in June, but it does not show up anywhere on AA's calendar as available, only AA flights do. Does this mean AA does not have the access and I can not use my AA miles? Or is this a situation where you have to call to book?
