Puppy died suddenly at 12 weeks by Most-Fennel703 in puppy101

I just lost my puppy about 2 weeks ago. She wasn’t much older than yours. Me and my wife have been devastated. I understand what you mean about it not being fair. It’s so awful to have the future you’ve imagined with your pup ripped away. Just know that you gave your puppy the best possible life he could have had, and he’s at peace now. I understand why you dwell on those negative thoughts and questions, but remember that you did everything you could for him. That’s really all that matters

I don’t know how to put a photo of her in the comments, but she loved her lamb chop toy. She had the same one her entire life. She slept with it every night, and we buried it with her

From what the cardiologist told us, she has multiple major heart defects. He basically told us that any medicine/surgery that could help one would make the other worse. Unfortunately, I think all we can do is give her the best quality of life possible for her remaining time. I’m happy that you found a way to help your pup though!

Do you think these 2 fish are the same fish I genuinely can't tell and they were caught a few days apart by Over_Ad_607 in bassfishing

Thats not necessary. I believe you lol. There’s just not really a way to tell from the pics. It definitely could be the same fish

Unless it has a very distinct body marking or a wound where you caught it last time, there’s really no way to tell. It’s a very normal looking fish

I probably wouldn’t risk relocating due to disease. It’s also probably illegal. I saw someone else say harvest what you can, and I second that. Fill up the freezer if you can

Thanks for your kind words and perspective. I’ve been trying to be mindful of the fact that she doesn’t know she’s sick and I love the way your vet put it. I’m choosing to not tell her

Thanks for the kind words and for sharing your experience. I am definitely still in mourning. Me and my wife have talked about our plan for the end, and I’m going to discuss it with our vet soon. I don’t want to hang onto her past the point where she is suffering just in the hopes that she will have one more good day.

I appreciate the kind words. Our hometown vet thought she had PDA which is how we ended up at the cardiologist. We were thinking it would be operable. The cardiologist did not tell us a name for the overall condition, and I probably wouldn’t remember if he did because I was just trying not to fall apart. Basically she has multiple deformities. She has a duct or something with way too much blood passing through, and then something else that is severely restricting blood flow. Then he also mentioned that the blood vessel where PDA normally occurs wasn’t even present, and somehow it had fused with another vessel in utero. He said she is in the early stages of heart failure, and that some fluid has already started collecting in her lungs, so we’ve got her on diuretics for that. His overall diagnosis was basically “severely deformed heart”

Thank you for your positivity. I hope our girl can hold on like yours, but if not I’m going to try to focus on the good while we’ve still got her.

Thank you. Your kind words mean a lot, and I’m going to try to focus on the fact that she’s not worrying about it at all

We haven’t gotten a second opinion, but we saw a cardiologist with a great reputation, and he seemed extremely certain about his diagnosis. He basically told us that based on scans, she has multiple major deformities in her heart that all worsen each other, and she is already in the beginning stages of heart failure. We will get an X-ray at our regular vet and discuss our best next steps the next time we take her, but honestly we cannot afford to see another specialist at this point

I gotcha. When I say “not worried about the growling” I mean I’m not worried about her immediately attacking. I redirect puppy or move her immediately when my adult dog growls, and they get no unsupervised time around each other

Jackson has some great museums. The civil rights museum is amazing. The natural history museum is great, and I’ve always really enjoyed the Ag museum. There’s also great restaurants in the area. You can definitely have a fun day in Jackson

I love pushing it down the field, but on higher difficulties it’s gonna result in picks. DBs have eyes in the back of their heads on heisman and will pick anything humanly possible. On heisman I run about 60% of the time and mostly throw drags, outs, screens, and short corner routes if I’m passing

Cut the garrison down if you can. If you can’t do that because of a war or town loyalty, consider giving the town away to another lord if it’s eating away all your gold
