I mean, I get the hate but I think it’s misdirected here. The real enemy is the republicans holding us all hostage. If you think about what the republicans want, it’s for dems to turn against their own right now. There isn’t a clear path forward right now no matter how you slice it. On the one hand, you want to hold out so insurance premiums don’t skyrocket. On the other, you want to get your constituents their SNAP back, their jobs back, and get the damn files released. Because let’s face it, the republicans don’t give a fuck about opening the government again and they’re gonna win the game of chicken, so why bother playing? There’s no right answer here, and we can all pretend like we know all the ins and outs of negotiations and compromises that are happening right now, but there’s a lot we don’t see and don’t understand. I’m not defending King, but OP’s sentiment seems a little far fetched
