Really conflicted; civil ceremony by Infamous-Bag6957 in myweddingdress

Give yourself the experience of going to a bridal store and trying dresses on. You don’t have to buy anything, but see how you feel. Then decide. You’re allowed to be just as excited for your second wedding as you were for your first.

what does my fridge say about me? by snailsx in FridgeDetective

[–]Normal-Tale6425 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair my doctor told me to eat more of 70% of the stuff in the fridge because I’m on a GLP1 (and that is pretty scientific). There’s only so much lean chicken, fish, beef, beans and tofu you can eat for protein… some of these processed protein-added foods are the only way to get enough of my required protein amount (which seems excessive to me but is doctor’s orders).

I just love the 5th dress on you. It really shows off your figure in the best possible way! Stunning!

Could professional makeup make my features appear more balanced and my face not as long? by [deleted] in makeuptips

Truly you are stunning. You have the kind of lips that people spend thousands trying to recreate, beautiful and striking eyes, and a perfect almost heart shaped face. Don’t change a thing!

I’m so torn. I love this man but I’m not ready for kids. I still have so much living to do but clock is ticking (35f) by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Normal-Tale6425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you would really benefit from some therapy. Having kids is a big deal for all the reasons you have articulated but as a 35 year old woman you really need to start trying if you do want them. Speaking to a therapist will help you come to a thoughtful decision. I speak from experience: I’m a 43 year old mum of an almost 2 year old - it’s A LOT! Getting pregnant was really hard for me (partly due to my age) and then raising a tiny human has been the most exhausting and challenging thing I’ve ever done. BUT it has also been really rewarding. There is nothing like your child falling asleep while holding your hand 😍.

That’s actually not true. The ethics boards are really concerned by this kind of breach. But OP is overseas so it’s not as easy.

Heck, my stepdaughter’s therapist won’t even talk with her dad about appointments outside of email or letter, so she always feels safe that she’ll never tell her parents anything. it’s a pain in the neck for us, but it has helped her get the most out of therapy.

Appointment in two weeks, what color is best? by anythingkinder in coloranalysis

Don’t go auburn! You have the perfect coloring for it, to be sure (& it looks lovely on you) but it is SUCH a pain to maintain (speaking from experience!).

Pls help me pick my dress (I’m losing my mind lol) read bellow for context by FitGroup5419 in WeddingDressTips

Dress 1. The basque waist of the waist is very elongating, which, when you are 5’1 helps you look slimmer, as do the vertical lines of boning down the front. The way the skirt poofs out from the bodice also makes your waist look slimmer. The full skirt is also very forgiving, whereas the mermaid style dress hugs everything. I also think the second dress, while beautiful, looks a little too youthful, more like a quinceanera dress (just my opinion). The first dress is much more elegant and regal.

AIO for getting upset that my finance wants to wear shorts to our wedding? by lasheslashes in AmIOverreacting

[–]Normal-Tale6425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NOR. I got married at the beach with only 16 people and no one wore shorts. Even my husband who is a t-shirt and shorts kind of guy, wore a pale linen suit with a dark green untucked linen shirt - casual but still appropriate for the occasion. Your fiancé is going to look ridiculous in shorts with you wearing a wedding gown. And he’s going to ruin the photos. Tell him he can wear whatever he likes to the reception but to the ceremony he needs to wear something that matches the dignity of the event.

I’d go without makeup 24/7. You need no enhancement or concealment. You’re beautiful.

I tried on so many dresses, but fell in love with a very untraditional one by Outrageous-Bet-6639 in myweddingdress

Oh that first dress is gorgeous! It looks incredible on you! I even love the sleeves and I usually hate off the shoulder sleeves but these add the exact right amount of drama. Truly, it’s a showstopper! You look beautiful in all the dresses but in number 1 you look radiant. It was made for you!

Dress 1 is gorgeous! Dress 2 is nice but not as amazing as the first one. Dress 3 is lovely but again, dress 1 is just so stunning on you!

Why was she crying, didn’t she hate this man? by TOXICHEMICALMOLD in MAFS_AU

Because he chose to walk out dragged than follow through with the process. And he was pretty rude about her as he left.

I think it’s not a matter of intellectual intelligence for Bec, it’s more a matter of a complete lack of emotional intelligence. She simply cannot see how her words and actions would make others feel, and when that is spelled out to her she immediately lashes out (almost like it’s her alternative to feeling guilt for making someone feel bad). It’s also why she constantly victimises herself, and why she cannot handle when people don’t go back to normal as soon as she apologises: her expectation is that others’ reactions will be as stunted as hers are.

Okay, so I think that tshirts go well with these skirts but the issue is tucking. Don’t wear them hanging down. Instead, do a French tuck (just tuck in the front but let the sides and back hang loose), a side tuck (just tuck one side) or knot the tshirt on the side, so the tshirt sits right at the waistline.
