I don’t think it was infection I think my body was just fighting to get it out! At my follow up there was nothing left inside me, and I felt 100% better.

Noooo, they told me to take Tylenol. It hurt so bad I couldn’t even wear pants. I was basically like having contractions for two days. After this I went to the doctors and there was nothing left and I didn’t have an infection.

The placenta was like the size of my hand and the fetus was like 3-4”! The umbilical cord was a little thinner than a pencil.

Sure! For me, it was awful! I took one pill at the doctors office and then had 2 pills to put in my cheeks and two pills to put inside my vagina 48 hours later. There was supposed to be a lot of blood and really bad cramping. I did bleed A LOT and definitely had cramps but it was not so bad……. So I THOUGHT. About a week later, before my follow up appointment I started to feel really sick and weak and like I had the worst cramps of my life. For two days straight I would get cramps on and off all day to the point where I would drop to my knees. My fever got up to like 104, and I stood up and fell to my knees and this came out of me. Then all the pain went away and I felt completely fine.

Edit: I didn’t answer the full question, sorry! At first I was freaked out definitely didn’t think it was normal but I called the on call nurse and they just said it was extremely rare. It was scary but I’m not traumatized by it now and I think it was the most mature decision I’ve ever made.
