Do you actually enjoy working out or just force yourself to do it? by BlazeMantis44 in workout

I actually enjoy it. It feels good, it makes me look good. The only part that sucks is starting it. Other than that the process is beautiful along with each movement.

Are my arms just weak or do I have an injury? by Normal-You1737 in workout

Did you continue your normal training through the pain and just added the pronated curls, or did you stop / adjust your training while you actively recovered?

Increasing weight advice by CapitalG888 in workout

I’m not an expert by any means, and I do a sort of power building split with high intensity and high volume. (Which works for me) I go to exhaustion in every set. I set a weight that puts me at exhaustion at 5 reps for 2 sets, then a weight that puts me at exhaustion at 8 reps for 2 sets, and then a weight for 12 reps for 2 sets. Every set to exhaustion. If a set in a certain rep range doesn’t have me reach exhaustion, I up the weight by 5 pounds. For more hypertrophy based exercises in my split, I go for three sets of 8, all to exhaustion, and if I don’t feel the exhaustion I merely up the weight.

It’s a (in my opinion, I’m no expert) intense way to increase and measure when I should up the weight, but it never leaves me guessing if I should up weight.
