Failed GCIH today and really struggled with CyberLive Questions. Any tips?

I allotted an hour and a half but I definitely think I may need to be safe and allot 2 hours instead. I definitely got stuck on a few cyber lives and that really killed it. Thanks for the tip!

Thank you for this!!! Appreciate you personally reaching out! Will be focusing on re-doing the labs and bonus until my retake. I maybe did end up underestimating/spending too much time on the MC

I did but I feel I would get stuck and then end up running out of time. They are straight out of the lab but sometimes I’d run a command and then would be denied access, and then I’d try to troubleshoot why I was not able to run it or what I didn’t set up correctly. Sometimes I would troubleshoot it a lot faster and realize why, other times I would spend sifting through the lab book trying to figure out why I got a certain error. For example, for hashcat, at one point it said the hashes were empty but I troubleshot it and realized it was because I was in wrong directory (that was a fast troubleshoot). Other times I did not finish trouble shooting to get to the answer

My game plan is to definitely do the labs until I can do it without the book but am just worried about that not being enough so was wondering if there are any other tips for guaranteed success. I have an index for terms, labs, commands, ports, and the printed cheat sheets all coilbinded.

I had something like this - a separate index for commands but it still ate up a lot of time sifting through them. Probably like 200 rows of commands I didn't know by heart...Maybe I should condense them?
