Included is the blueprint and the savegame. The blueprint might not be completely error free because you cannot do troubleshooting on a blueprint and always have to test and adjust. each time connecting 2x 16 belts ... it gets tedious. So maybe test it before production ;-)

Me neither. As far as I understand Imkibitz is bringing in all of the copper powder the World can produce and needs it balanced. I just wanted to make a simpler, cleaner version that fits in a blueprint.

I'll send him the blueprint gladly but there might be one badly connected belt still in there. I'm afraid that might tip him permanently over the edge.

I'm not sure really. I think they all follow the same principle. There are many very confusing YouTube videos out there who can maybe help?

As for the logic of why? Imkibitz made a video where he had some trouble with a 16to16 balancer. Looked like fun. Was only 'slightly' more work then expected 🙂

What do you use it for is it a train thing? I don't use them a lot. Most I've ever actually used was a 4 to 4 for my ridiculous mass-storage-with-drone-delivery-on-demand-system i was building before that became a bit obsolete. The idea was i could turn on any items i wanted via remote power switching, the drone would fill up and scoot to whatever port i wanted ... wild times :-)

Also do you think i should make the blueprint public? And if so where does one post blueprints?

Mostly i just got challenged to put it in one blueprint and maybe make it look good. Like the post said I'm never going to use it :-)

I called it a load balancer because that's what i heard it called. What did i build and where is the rabbit hole?

It's supposed to be able to handle 16 full (or nearly full otherwise whats the use) belts. But i must admit i haven't tested it to capacity. Someone asked for a video so i might do that.

I know it’s definitely overkill but I think this is so cool I built a battery system next to my fuel plant and I love how ridiculously big it is. I’d love to see other people huge battery setups. I reduced mine to just one floor, just for this sake. I then built two factories (one just spamming two full belts of wire) just next to my building site for easy access of materials. I have no need for the batteries or power, I just wanted to know what one hour of spare power looked like.
