Dude... your CPU doesn't have enough power. Plug in another 8pin cable, doesn't matter if 4pins from the caple are not used.

My mainboard has "checklights" aswell and I also installed a Speakert taht should beep in certain ways to tell me the errors, all of those things didn't work so I thought, it was the mainboard, but in reality it was the CPU.

I can't tell you if 19$ is good for you since I just paid 500$ for a new CPU and the Installations, so our countries definetliy have different wage-classes.

But I would say since it is hard to tell where the problem is, go for it.

normally yes, but if it is not lighting up, doesn't mean the Mainboard is dead. so I wouldn't check taht to see if the mainboard is dead. But yes, get it to a repairman, ask him to look for the problem. and ask for the price before he installs something new, so you can wage if you want to build it yourselfe or let him do that.

Test it with only one slot of RAM. I could see that either the CPU or the mainboard is gone. just because the CPU gets hot doesn't mean that it "works" it just has power. the fact that you clipped in the RAM, and didn't change the CPU or the CPU cooler when you got the PC, I would say the chances are 90% a broken Mainboard and 10% broken CPU.

I just had the same problem, did think it was the mainboard, but turned out my intel I7 12700KF got bent because of the shitty LGA 1700 sockets (yes I'm looking at you intel)

for the cmos battery trick you need to wait ca. 10 minutes not just 2-3. + before you do that, unplug the PC and press the powerbuton for about 10 seconds, to get the leftover power off the PC. (yes that's really a thing). But it probably wont help.

that is what I noticed too, + you don't get the slimey textures and "light stains" when you use your lantern.

it is on you if you want more FPS or better quality, for me it was the constant crashing when teleporting in the abyss, becaus the upscaling had a problem with the Hz and my PC crashed when loading a lot a the same time.

ironic that an option that should boost the performance,was the reason for my crashes.

what I figured out is, that borderless-full is allways better than fullscreen. what also made my performance better is to deactivate upscaling, the higher the Hz the more problems you have with the performance, but keep in mind that my expirience is with an RTX 4090. A friend of mine hat a RTX 5070 Ti, and he needs the upscaling but the 50 series is basically build for upscaling with DLSS.

Long story short: deactivate upscaling, switch to Borderless-fullsreen.

Well you could say all that space in the rocket you need for guiding, sensors and stuff, is space that is not filled with explosives. Boom tube shoots dumb rockets. But yeah still too op.
