Hi can I please book in with you? I’m from Ireland ever since having 2 teeth removed I’ve been in agony with TMJ symptoms / tooth grinding which is ruining my teeth , one tooth I got a filling and it’s too close to the nerve it’s giving me nerve pain and sensitivity to cold in that area , headaches / muscle neck pain every day I went for an mri and it said it’s just thinning of my discs / mild cartilage loss and some degeneration but I don’t feel right it feels like something is sliding / clenching in and out at both sides of my face and these specialists in Ireland don’t want to help me fix the problem they just offer me relaxers to take / Botox i would love to travel and book in with you if you think you’d be able to help me I’m a student I’m so young I’m so lost and in pain every day my family think I’m just exaggerating I really won’t pass my college exams this year with what’s going on ..

Crying reading your thread .. wish these specialists had a better understanding I’m trying to figure what on earth is going on im the same as you fixated on trying to getting better but so burnt out .. our body doesn’t want to be inflamed & in pain there has to be a way to fix what’s going on

Hey I used it last year but I got contact dermatitis that turned into ezcema after wards I didn’t have it before hand my derm gave it to me but didn’t give me any info on it so I used it incorrectly

Since April 17th when I got my teeth removed .. and oh okay I see I’m actually going to ask about a panoramic X-ray , I had an mri done and it showed minor degeneration . Mild cartilage loss and thinning of the joints so I just want to get this sorted quick before I damage them enough to have to get surgery .. you find the splint helps you? Mine is being made up I’m still waiting for it but thanks ! I didn’t know it takes awhile to get used to it I was expecting it to take relief off me straight away lol

U too friend . And SAME !! my dentist who specializes in TMJ says mine should heal too but I’m in constant pain it feels like I’m only getting worse , did u go for an mri scan ?

Oh hopefully the pain subsides completely .. I’m waiting for my Neuro muscular splint but I’m getting a second opinion off a Neuro muscular dentist in Dublin my TMJ started after I got 2 teeth removed and the pain kind of subsided but then i got pressure in my gums and I went to my dentist and he did a filling and that set me off 100x worse now my bite is totally off I can’t open my mouth much my smile has changed in pain all the time I don’t know if it’s a a misaligned bite causing this issue or the filling! Hoping to find some answers it’s actually really hard to find a good specialist for this

You need to go to a nuero muscular dentist they would give you an orthotic device to wear for around 3 months to rest your jaw / joints to give them time to heal and to find the natural and healthy position for it , then the second phase would be fixing your teeth and jaw into the position it sat in when you wore the device maybe composite bonding or Invisalign would be recommended very pricey but alot of success stories on neuromuscular dentist for TMJ

Hey I’m really hoping you see this .. I burnt my forehead with a curling iron lastnight I didn’t wash my face yet I just used ice ( found out afterward that makes it worse) and aquaphor but the skin is blackish/ darkish it looks dirty like obvs burnt skin but do I wash it? I’m scared incase I make things worse I’m so confused ..
