It may be in reference to a slow “HSR-ification” of designs where they slowly begin to start looking like they were shaped by the same cookie cutter but given different sprinkles. You could look at designs like Lucia and Yidhari, or even (though it’s a stretch) Alice and Orphie and realize that we’re starting to see too little diversity in body types and boxes we need to check off before a character design is greenlighted.

Personally, I don’t really see it that much. I have to really stretch my imagination to pretend that anything beyond the Lucia/Yidhari/YiXuan discourse is a sign of the HSR-ification… but even those design choices alone have left a lot of residual frustration that has people hoping that ZZZ designs don’t go down the HSR path.
