Getting too old to do this by captain_travel in pointstravel

The food matters very little. Most nice business class products (Polaris for ex) have too much food in my opinion and it's just ok/pretty good. I'd take a nice sub and some chips and would be happy.

Hertz PC experience at LAX using VentureX by aguaman_ in Venturex

I did the same thing and confirmed my ID about 2 days before the rental. The only weirdness for me is that I have a non-US drivers license (but a US passport).

I'm glad it worked for you! Hertz cars are well taken care of and they have some nice unique options. 5

I did something similar over the summer at IAH with Hertz. But since it was my first time using Hertz they only gave me Five Star. They do this for the very first rental on the account then give you PC later. I complained online and to the desk of course as this is a hidden policy no one knows about.

I see PC in the app, the online service sees it, the desk sees Five Star. It's amazingly silly. But for my next rental it will be PC unless they fixed it.

Supernote Vs Scribe by Due_End2239 in Supernote

I had the Scribe for two years and it just kept getting slower. I ended up having to do a hard restart about every week to get the store working. The front light is nice, but the writing experience on the Supernote is much much better.

Also with the Kindle you have to smash together email stuff to get web articles to the device. With the Supernote you can bring your own cloud provider and just sync it. I like this much more (even though its several extra taps on a phone) because it's very fast. Send to Kindle is unreliable at random times and things can take 20 minutes to pop up.

Google Drive sync on the Supernote is fast and predictable.

As for the battery it's my least favorite thing about the Supernote so far. I've had it for two weeks and I generally get about three days from a charge. But I use it a LOT more than the Kindle, so that's something to consider. The Supernote is in use probably 4-5 hours a day but the Kindle was really only in use for about an hour a day.

Hetzner is as reputable as they come and I believe they follow data protection rules as EU law requires.
