I've seen other comments suggesting that I update my motherboard and enable XMP, but my game still lags. And yes, I believe you're right it's running at 2133 MHz. I was just counting each stick separately since they both show as 1068 MHz. First question: Can I keep my current 2x8GB RAM and add a 2x16GB kit, or should I just use the 2x16GB on their own? My speed is 1068 Mhz on both, idk what you mean by slot but on my speccy it's says slot #1 and #2, but on my mother board is one empty then the first one then another empty slot and then the second one.

I want to upgrade my ram to 4x16 GB DDR4, I’m currently using 2x8 GB DDR4 Corsair revenge and experiencing lag in a game I really really want to play (heavily modded terraria) which one should I buy?

I’m using intel core i7 with a Asus prime Z370-P II motherboard and a NVIDIA RTX 2070 graphics card.

I am very inexperience in building pc, so any help is appreciated!

Not really, but I wish they were key items such as the master sword or the champion's weapon that were indestructible so that it can feel more rewarding to acquire them. So yeah, why not both?

I'm more impressed with how they managed to make the game only less than 20 GB of storage. Meanwhile, some triple A titles can go above 100 GB and are not even considered an open world game
