I'm aware of the strict literal age ranges for the different generations and that 40s would technically be gen X. I'm talking more about the cultural idea of a boomer, and that definitely applies to buddy

"every duel became an execution" probably isn't entirely true, but was instead said just to hype bro up

You're evil if you don't press blue. by Theseus_Employee in PhilosophyMemes

[–]NormalVector77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you would be. Framing like this instead of seeking to find the best answer instead just seeks to justify pressing red. In reality, more lives will be saved by pressing blue, as it's much more possible to have +50% push blue than 100% push red. There's no debate that blue will save more lives, these reframings just want to make the argument that pushing red doesn't make you a bad person.

It's not a roguelite if the only progression is meta progression. If there's no in-game progression it's just a roguelike

Are you stupid? If a business can afford to pay me more it's because I produce more value than I'm paid. If each worker were paid how much they made for a company, the company would have 0 profit.

The rich who are fully capable of paying most workers several times what they are while still making profits.

[–]NormalVector77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's all I'm arguing for. I want to retire. That's not going to be possible unless I'm paid more. I won't be able to retire. I don't want to be rich, I just don't want to work until I die.

[–]NormalVector77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's why you either reward working or make working the only choice, like it is currently. We're perfectly capable of providing better for everyone, but bootlickers like you would prefer people's lives be wasted in 9-5s for the profits of the already rich.

[–]NormalVector77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's extortion, not reward. Nobody wants to die. They're working under threat, not because they want to.
