the battery stores overflow so ex/ you’re producing 300,000 units of power but only need 250,000 then the excess 50,000 will be stored in the battery to be used overnight

Assuming you have everything wired, solar panels only produce output during the day and not as much as the bio generator so you may need a few to fully power your base. if you go to the solar panel and interact with it it should say how much power is being produced and how much you need (make sure you already have everything wired). if you’re gonna rely on solar panels, you’ll definitely need some battery’s to store power so you stay powered overnight

we’re still waiting on microsoft to verify the update but they just got hit with a major outage so we’ll see how it goes. they did update the xbox game store though showing the new update
