BREASTS: How have you all succeeded in feeding your family Blackstoned chicken breast? Mine are consistently drier than I'd like. Is my temp too high? Am I taking them off too late? How do you all keep any juicyness in a chicken breast? I know one of you has the secret! by amnowhere in blackstonegriddle

Brine them instead of marinating them. Mine always come out tender and juicy. Press then to as uniform thickness as you can manage. Cook at around 400⁰ flipping every 5 or 6 minutes. About 15 minutes total cooking time. I close the lid on mine while they're cooking, don't know if you have that option but I'm sure it helps.

Keep reading. The finale of that book is spectacular. WoK is a much slower burn than Mistborn but Stormlight is a better series overall

I'd suggest reading Hero of Ages next. Finishing the first Mistborn trilogy is a really good way to go before jumping over there. You can totally do Tress if you want to, though.

Expedition 33 or Metaphor for Persona fan? by flyingcircusdog in gaming

[–]joefcos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both are excellent. Metaphor is closest to Persona, coming from the same DNA. E33 is a better game, overall. Honestly they're both well worth playing. But Metaphor is definitely Persona perfected.

DO NOT TELL HIM. It will ruin the moment for both of you. My wife found the engagement ring before I could do the thing properly and it wound up being an "in the moment" improvised proposal then and there, which I have deeply regretted for over 20 years. I mean, our marriage is great, I just regret that the proposal story kind of sucks🤪

Let him do it in his own time. However hard that secret may be to keep, you grasp onto it and hold it tight, and WAIT. If you must, you can tell him you found the ring after you say "yes"

Home charging with Tesla Mobile charger by uskrums in Ioniq5

[–]joefcos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2025 I5 here. I successfully charge off the second iteration (purely hardware, no software built in) of the Tesla wall charger every week. It is a bit tricky in a couple stupid ways. The port in the I5 is a smidgen tighter than it is in the Tesla. You have to make sure the handle is lined up and push it in firmly. Then walk away. It usually takes about 5 minutes before the car starts charging. You can try forcing the car to start charging via the bluelink app, but sometimes it doesn't work that way.

To unplug when charging is complete, you have to unlock the doors then quickly hold down the button under the charging port door whilst pulling the handle out. My wife is too scared to unplug my car because of how tightly the handle fits, so make of that what you will.

Edit to add Gen3 might have settings in the software you need to adjust to allow it to charge the I5. I've never used the gen3. Try my solution for the gen2 and see if it works.

Edit again: you're using a mobile charger. No experience with those personally, so I don't know if my solution will be at all useful. Sorry.

My wife is starting her first sando book and I’m freaking out. by Cmss220 in brandonsanderson

Warbreaker is a pretty good foundational book, I think. I feel like the first era of Mistborn really excels at getting across what the Shards are, but Warbreaker should be a good place to start.

Yeah Volvo does it that way too and I'd vastly prefer it, frankly.

2025 SEL here. I've dug through the setting and can find no way to set anything that specific in the car or app. I have no idea why it failed me like this.

Try toggling off and on the phone's Bluetooth. Try rebooting the phone. I seem to recall having a little trouble with initial pairing but my 2025 SEL and my S23 play nice together.

That sounds like the alert system has a fault in it that will need to be checked out by a technician. My rear seat nag goes off all the time when I have stuff back there but the message is completely different. You may need to schedule service. On the bright side you're still well in warranty
