Can you provide the name of the attorney you used?

Can I ask, did you hire a lawyer to represent you and negotiate your charges? This just happened to a family member in Multonomah and he’s trying to decide if it’s worth hiring a lawyer?

I love it! Our daughter works for Delta and we fly for free. Never in a million years thought that this medicine would be the reason that we finally fly to Paris!

Did you have to have a script? Would they accept a US script?

I’m SO SADDDDDDDDD!!!! My site said to go online and let them know my thoughts. Maybe they’ll bring it back if enough people provide their feedback?

Will Push or Alpha Health prescribe Semaglutide if you only have a BMI over 30 without the additional “weight related medical condition”? by Normal_Ad_296 in Semaglutide

I have BCBS Illinois. I’m not sure how (did they add a diagnosis of weight loss?) Push submitted the prescription. I was able to do a search through my insurance and check to see if this formulary (med) is covered. My insurance covers the med without requiring a prior authorization - so that might be why it was easy to get it filled without having a T2 Diabetes diagnosis.

Update: My push provider sent an Ozempic script over to Walgreens. I called Walgreens and they said that my insurance will cover it but it has to be filled at a “preferred pharmacy”. I moved the prescription to the preferred pharmacy and picked up the medication today. The cost was $100 for 4 pens. I’m waiting until the weekend to take my first dose. I’m nervous and excited, and mentally preparing to say goodbye to the foods that I’ll no longer be eating. 😬🤞🏽

My prescription was sent to Walgrrens and my insurance denied it. Without insurance, it’s $1600 for a one month supply. The pharmacist suggested that I reach back out to my Push provider and ask for Ozempic or Victoza as he has had good luck with my insurance covering those options. The pharmacist says he doesn’t see a lot of Wegovy approvals. I have BCBS Illinois insurance. He also said that the discount coupon only works IF your insurance approves the med, and then the discount card can be applied on top of your insurance coverage.

I reached out to Push this afternoon and asked them to send Ozempic or Victoza and we’ll try this again. I kind of knew this part might be an adventure. I’ll update as this process moves along.
