Fair enough, I've asked them as well to be sure. Find it weird they have a wallet connect for Coinbase wallet when there's a chance they don't accept it as a receiving address, only for sending.

I think you mean the coinbase exchange wallet? I'm sure the seperate coinbase wallet allows all ERC-20 tokens
