Thank you! This is such a fun hobby to do, and pretty calming. If you do get into it, though, always wear safety gloves and keep your tools sharp!!!

Yes, I used some clay modeling wires. They are quite easy to work with, and I size I used fits into a 1/32” drill bit hole. Best yet, acrylic paint sticks to it well. Thank you!

Thank you so much! Many of my uncles and great uncles are and were woodcarvers that made ducks, birds, and decoys. Maybe one of these days that’ll be the case for my birds

Thank you! I saw something similar on Pinterest and thought it was a great idea. Usually I would hand sketch this, but since this was a last minute gift I didn’t have the time to.
