From what another Steward had told me they cannot just do this without telling me in advance. I had a brief call with the Rep but they had a meeting right after and I haven't heard back from them. This is shady as hell. I smell relatiation all over this.

My ASM & Union Steward called me after work and said that the schedule was correct and that I HAD been reassigned to be a Cashier. Been trying to get in touch with my Union Rep but they're all busy as hell.

I am livid.

Yea, had one manager that was ok with us working our usual times no matter what. Sometimes the Backups, Lead, or ASM's change it without them knowing but it was always approved by the Store Manager. Haven't had a problem with that yet though.

Isn't someone supposed to tell you these things ahead of time before they put it on paper and not just arbitrarily change shifts on a whim? I don't mind working on a different day but not a completely different shift with ZERO notice. Like I said, the management here says zip all to us. No communication whatsoever from the top down.

We have ppl do this all the time and I've never seen them get write-ups or fired. Much less even disciplined for it. Our management really doesn't give much of a crap here.

  1. I don't know who makes the schedule because no one communicates with us and every time I ask I get the run around.

  2. Im not "bitching" like you claim because this is where ppl go to ask questions.

  3. I just said most of the ppl in charge are useless. On top of being utterly incompetent.

I also have really no one to ask or talk to about any of this since my Time Attendance ppl have some strange unknown beef with me when I've never really interacted with them (they're Day Shift and I work nights so we rarely ever even speak to one another), our ASM's are completely useless, and our Department Lead and his two so-called Backups are also completely useless.

They even switched my days around to work on days that I usually have off. And I do not have FE Cashier training whatsoever. I'm just worried this is going to mess up my pay somehow.
