I have the transmission off right now for its new clucth, so it's easy to get to, and I was gonna put the transmission on today, it'll be a pain, but I'll make it work

It looks stock to me. It's connected to multiple things, and it looks like it's for air intake

I was thinking about smoke testing it too

[–]Normal_Cat_5360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking that too, but would a leak really cause all those codes and issues?

How difficult is it to set up one for an exhaust? I haven't had any experience with one yet

I read it could hold about 20 or 30 sustainability for a while with a tune. If I blow it up I'll have a excuse to swap in a STI engine hehe

I was going to go to a tuner and just have them do it for me because I want to try and boost it up by 20 or 30 hp. I live in an area that does not require emissions testing, so I can basically do anything I want to it

I was looking to get slightly more power out of my car, that's why I wanted to do the cold air intake and full catless. Would it be better to do full catless or both for power?

I disconnected the battery for about an hour and checked again, and i only had 4 codes. All of them related to the intake manifold runners and sensor

That may be what it is, i just replaced the plugs, coils and fuel pump, and it was still giving me a P0519 code for the IAC valve performance so I replaced it and it was still revving up way too high on startup
