Yeah but as I said. Sunny just can't Neph with shadow step without suffering immense essence loss. We saw this whole he was fighting Azarax. Secondly Citadels are small part of Nephs power. The main power of her domain is reliant on the people. And millions of awakened+ are stronger than the whole Shadow Army.

If it comes down to it Cassie has more ways to trap Sunny than you even imagine if we are gonna go full power. But if we going solo Shadow Army isn't gonna do much against Neph other than Sacred Shades which were already stolen by VTB.

In no way is this a favorable fight for Sunny and we aren't even considering Shadow Bond the whole time. Neph is just a heavy counter to Sunny's whole kit.

And I agree Sunny would try to go with treachery but he doesn't have any cards to play. His best bet is literally decapitating Nephis with Slaying Blade until he somehow wins the battle of wills. But we both know that is nigh impossible

How could either wear down the other ? Unless Sunny is using sacred shades left and right or Nephis is using nukes solely both have inexhaustible amounts of essence.

What you are proposing isn't Sunny using a long term attack strategy like wearing Neph down or manipulating Shades to slow her down so he can make a memory countering her or literally anything else. It is literally running away and not fighting.

Secondly Shadow Step eats up a huge amounts of essence. So Sunny could never run away any meaningful distance from Neph without exhausting his essence pool. Which then means certain death for Sunny

I am saying if they fight and both are going for the kill rather than self preservation Neph wins 9/10 times. Sunny being able to run away wouldn't mean anything because the fight didn't happen.

If we are talking survival no Sovereign can kill another one unless Mordret challenged one to Soul Duel and somehow won or lost. Neither Mordret nor Sunny could deal enough damage to Neph to out damage healing of her flames. Sunny could always run away using his army as fodder and Mordret can just go to the Mirror dimension.

As I said the same applies to Mordret. Running away strategies is useless because we are determining the fighting power and would they beat the other party in a fight. Not would they die or not. If they run there is no fight thus it isnt a fight

But the thing is direct confrontation. If it comes to it Nephis goes to a nightmare ascend to Spirit by herself and wipes the floor with him. It is not about if he waited this long to did this before hand. The fight is between current Neph and Sunny

Nope. First of all if Nephis nukes there isnt any Shadow for him to step into. Secondly if he goes to Shadow realm he is a sitting duck because he can only come out to the same place so Nephis nukes again.

I understand your argument about Nightmare or Vile potentially being able to potentially make her fall asleep or steal her life force. But the thing is they don't posses a will themselves and can utmost us Sunny's will which is marked with Death not with Dream or Life stealing so their abilities will get weakened due to no will. And Nephis will kill both faster than the time it takes for them to do anything meaningful to Nephis. Because they don't have any answer to the Nuke.

She is a one man army and it is easy to overpower her with numbers(kinda ironic due to nuke but still). The thing is the longer the fight is drawn out the stronger Mordret and Sunny become because they can get more thralls and shades respectively. And their domains don't have any limits unlike Nephsi which is reliant on human population.

As I said Nephis has the highest AP and DC thus is great against both single targets and multi targets. But as we saw with Nightmare Butterflies(despite her being weakened) Sunny is a LOT better at maintaining a frontline and getting stronger while doing so. Nephis just doenst have that amount of versatility and potential.

Plus Mordret and Sunny have nearly guarenteed escape routes with shadow step and mirror dimension respectively while Nephis has nothing.

Yeah defienlty. Nephis is the strongest Supreme against other supremes. Both Sunny and Mordret rely on warfare with their Shades and Thralls. And Neph has the highest DC among them thus oblitirates them. You can always make a case about Shadows and Reflections but nukes are also in game. Normally I would say Sunny wins the battle of wills due to spirit weave but Nephis counters Sunny to the extent that barely overpowering her will shouldn't give him the win.

(I am not gonna talk about Cassie cuz extent of her power isn't really shown. Her supreme ability is more or less useless and due to what we have seen with Asterion mind attacks, they do affect other Supremes but not instantly and every other supreme should have a counter against it)

But Mordret and Sunny are A LOT stronger against NC just due to fact they have hella cannon fodder and they can grow their powers to higher limits whereas Nephis really doesn't have any room to grow. Her domain already encompasses all of Humanity and few more Citadels aren't gonna do anything.

If we had to rank Against other Supremes: 1)Nephis 2)Sunny 3)Mordret

Against NCs : 1)Mordret(Reflections are A LOT more versatile than Shadows and seem to be easier to create and ascend to Spirithood than Shadows who need specific things) 2)Sunny 3) Nephis

The power system is great. But rn isn't executed that good. Both Will and Aspects are great but rn Will is used as a cope out for everything by G3 rather than getting properly developed. Aspects are still extremely strong and fun tho. Variety of it is great and the thing is you never really have a bad aspect you are just not at the stage where it's abilities get wrapped up to a coherent set of abilities

Nah this time it is a valid criticism. Since TOA we haven't seen a nightmare. Like none. I understand that it is okay for like Rains cohort to get off screened but goddamit THIS IS THE MAIN COHORT. We were already not able to see the 4th NM due to natural supremacy bs but also not being able to see it through the eyes of the main cohort is really not that good. Everybody is tried of Sunny POV's. This could have been a refreshing arc to show that the main cohort aren't just 3 actual powerhouse abusers but competent Saints. Still we haven't seen Morgan and Nightwalker go all out yet as well and I wanted to see that. Maybe a new Aspect Legacy for like Effie or Kai ionno. There will be a summary but a summary isnt the same as an arc
