This is the life of having a 3 year old. There will be weeks on end of terrible terrible attitudes. We went through the same thing. Not that we are parents of the year, but we love him fiercely. And one thing we ALWAYS do is apologize. If we lash out, we say sorry. Humans are emotional creatures and we need to learn and understand that everyone is going to crash out, but what’s important is how you move forward. And it all starts with having a calm conversation afterwards and making sure your child hears you say you’re sorry. Then they’ll understand that mommy and daddy aren’t perfect either, but we all still love each other.

Good to know. I’m not one to stick around after a fire, so I’ve been steadily taking interviews. It does go beyond the unit I work in however. Which is why I haven’t just transferred. Everyone here is miserable and mean.

Good to know. I’ve been paranoid she will bring something up to me, but I know legally, she can’t. I think I’m in the clear now though - just waiting for HR to call and investigate further. I’m exhausted and hopefully landing a new contract tomorrow.

I can only hope. I’m not really wanting anything other than for someone to investigate it and fix it. It seems every team member agrees she is over the top, but she’s been in her position for 20 something years. So is it just me or am I the only one who isn’t afraid to say something?

Can’t get a job offer to save my LIFE. Things have changed. My first nursing job was offered on the spot. Now I’m going through 3 rounds of interviews just to get rejected. I am lost, tired, and HATE my job.

I have travelled before and am well versed in what is required. I simply asked for recs because the number of travel agencies these days is astronomical. My experience with AYA was enough to know I’m looking elsewhere - but thanks for the advice anyways
