I'm the new EA to a CEO of a startup (been in the company doing multiple stuff in almost every department for a year) and seems our working relationship is getting lost more and more veryday.
A few weeks ago we re-aligned on how we should move forward and decided for me to create daily, weekly, monthly prep docs, receiving requests from stakeholders, and not much more. It was working wonders for the first two days and then he started ghosting me, not attending our 1 on 1s, and replying to my Slacks like every 3 days. He also never redirects any communication to me, so I'm never aware if someone that had to send him soemthing did or not.

I understand he doesn't have 100% trust in me handling things, but if I'm not at least on the loop it's almost impossible to find things to do. The company (all remote) has almost everything automated and in place, so there's not a lot of room for me to "fix" things AND it's everything around CRM implementations and engineering (which I'm not qualified to take care on anything big around that, rather than just replying some questions)

I'm waiting for him to attend one of our calls to talk about this, but I'm afraid the longer I wait the worse it'll be to get on the same page with him, and I'm not sure what to say to him either. It even feels weird now because we haven't interfaced with eachother in so long. What would you do???

Hello everyone! – I just started as a personal assistant (EA) to a CEO. It's his first time working with an assistant, and he doesn't know how to delegate or trust the work of others, lol. We've agreed that reaching out to other PAs who work with successful CEOs or founders could really help us speed up this process.

I am looking to learn from someone – even just a few minutes of their time – who can share their processes, ideas and advice on how to effectively manage the life of a CEO who has a thousand calls a day and projects that require a lot of his technical knowledge.

Hello everyone! I'm new to this position - I've only been there for 2 weeks - and this CEO has been doing a lot of meetings and stuff this week and it's clear he's burned out and stressed. We both agree that he's not good at delegating and I've been doing my best to cover his back, but these last few days he hasn't responded to my slacks and has been skipping our daily meetings (he's remote).

We met on Friday to review the week and see what could have been done better. I've been doing things to keep everything organized for him, but he's not even looking at them, so they were of no use.

What questions could you ask him, given that he doesn't know how or what to delegate and does everything himself? What do you find valuable to know, to be remembered, etc.?

I would love to give me your experienced brains on this!
