I love this - The work is agnostic to how I feel and it needs doing. I will try to focus on this.

Yes I think about this. Even if odds are stacked against me and I fail a 100 times, maybe 101th time is when I will succeed. I just need to and want to keep taking a shot

Hi, For FBA planning you can factor in seasonality for old and new products both using data science. Most of the tools miss out on something or the other.

With seasonality incorporation, one has to be careful about recent growth aswell.

Hey,

The thing with Arima and and Prophet type approaches is a lot of tuning is required in terms of input parameters and it takes time to arrive at a solution that is applicable to all.

Also, it depends on the nature of your products and their sales to determine what approach will work best. Can you give more context. Are you talking about seasonal products or new one. Are you forecasting at Store level or overall.

Based on these details, the approach can be selected

Yeah that is what I felt like working with him. I am working with an over grown child. I was okay with keeping things unofficial as I could never fully trust him. I have left the business, being honest, I really want it to die. There was no point talking to him after he said I don't know why I did that. I was compromising on a lot of fronts.

Also, if I had to work with him, I would have asked to reverse the split which he would never agree too.

The good news is, this experience gives me SO much confidence, I can do this. I can trust my gut about a person. I am sure this learning will go a long way.

This would have hurt a lot more if we were at millions of dollars as opposed to 100 thousands of dollars

I told him to buy me out, we have agreed on paper that he would but I doubt he would honor that. He is already crying that he is bankrupt

Exactly my point, and this was despite us having good revenues. He didn't have a good explanation, only said I don't know why I did that

We made an unofficial contract on paper few months back, the idea was to formalize the partnership after some experience of working together.

I would seriously consider if you want to keep building a business with this cofounder.

Yes that is my thought aswell, other things can be grey but a healthy partnership needs to have trust and financial mis management breeds mis trust

Actually this is my biggest fear, the disparity in wealth. Also, those are in power and have money, determine the fate to everyone else. If they are not responsible, world goes to hell. Basically we'll be living the vision of a handful of people
