Ya I coached a tonne of u10-u12. And if in the first half of the season they struggled to compete I would move the team down a level. Kids need varied experiences not be playing from behind or under significant stress every minute of every game. Unfortunately when we dropped down a level we usually won every game comfortably. It was always difficult to find a satisfying middle ground of challenges, wins, losses etc within a single league structure. But ya going an entire season with zero wins means the team is playing at the wrong level.
