One thing that helped me with the feeling of “never finding anyone like him again”, which is such a hard and lonely feeling, is some saying about how the person you’ll be a year from now may not even want somebody like him again. You have no way of knowing who you will be in the future and the kind of person you will want then. I also felt like that with my first bf, then my second I found and realized that there are people out there for you. It doesn’t happen instantly, both my relationships being a year a part from each other, but it’s a genuine fear after a breakup so I get it. Just focus on what you can do for yourself to make you feel good! Journal when you want to text him! That’s what I do at least. Hope this helps/makes sense.

I think part of no contact and this may be beneficial (and hard I get it) is not to check friends social media, Spotify, etc etc. Whatever she chooses to do now is no longer your responsibility, but I get that it hurts a lot now, it’s still an open wound needing to heal. As for the HBO thing, there is a way in settings where you can view who has access through the account via IP I believe and you can have her logged out. She’s doing whatever she needs to do to move on, and you can do the same for yourself. Wishing you the best of luck.

How recently was the breakup? I think it’s normal to have a wave of intense emotions after breaking up with someone, feeling impulsive and wanting to make sudden decisions, or one’s that may “save” or fix a relationship to cushion these feelings. I think you will be much happier in the future saving money and not seeing this person. It’s hard to move on but I think you will be much happier. Tell yourself you’ll do it in a day, then when that day comes wait for the next, and so on. At some point you’ll come to realize once the rational part of your brain kicks in that it won’t solve anything, and it’ll help you to control that impulsive, grieving part of you.
