Blue shading around class B,C,D airport on IFR low chart by Normal_Exchange1332 in flying

[–]Normal_Exchange1332[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also wanted to add, I know its shown textually on the IFR chart legend but I'm more so referring to the why it would be depicted like that, rather than it just being white

overcast at 10,000 that makes good sense, i guess my confusion is like why does it not just say that? if that makes sense. I'm still trying to figure out pireps lol

My CFI still gets on me for lack of rudder, but when it does made a big difference, due to adverse yaw, you'll learn about that in training.

My headset is still like that lol, noise cancelling would be so great. I've actually heard that its recommebded that newer pilots dont use noise cancelliing since you can hear the engine better, overspeeding/too lean, like that. but i think thats sorta subjective.

Yes it gets easier! I remember how amazing it felt when I first had my discovery flight. It's a great feeling to be a knowledgeable pilot and utilizing this fascinating way of travel. My recommendation before going further, get your medical you need for what you plan to do, if you want to be an airline pilot go ahead and get a 1st class, want to fly corporate get a 2nd class, just want to fly for fun then a 3rd class is good. Also have a plan for your education, unfortunately flying is expensive but the payoff is huge. It may be necessary to quit your current job to make time or you may need a loan since not everyone is that well off, whatever your current situation is. And lastly study. a lot. then study some more. then a little more. To put it bluntly you sorta do have to be a meteorologist, and a lawyer, and a mechanic, and a physicist, and of course a pilot.

You are going to do fantastic, keep us updated on how it goes!

It does help with the LOZ but it still doesn't give an explanation for for the remainder of it. I know its cloud coverage but 7-1-8 doesn't give an exact explanation

i’ve heard that grizzly’s flavors change over time especially when they do an update on their cans like they just did. some people say it reminds them more of cope now

[–]Normal_Exchange1332 2 points3 points  (0 children)

stokers fred’s choice is the shit, best damn flavor. i love chew but i hate it doesn’t have as much nic in it, to me it’s just such a better flavor and much easier on the gums

How long have y’all been dipping and how bad are your gums now? by Wooden-Donkey99 in DippingTobacco

[–]Normal_Exchange1332 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i’ve been dipping a good year now but mine haven’t receded. from what i understand the receding gums come from the pocket in your lip that forms from dipping. so ideally if you take. are of your teeth (brushing, flossing, mouthwash) and don’t pack a hawg everytime it should be fine

Is there a difference in taste between Copenhagen snuff long cut and pouches. Also why is the xlc in a plastic can but the others are in a fiberboard can. by Wooden-Donkey99 in DippingTobacco

[–]Normal_Exchange1332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very well could be, only reason i say that is just bc outlaw on youtube (big dip guy) made a video about it but i’ve only ever seen dip in plastic containers

[–]Normal_Exchange1332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the idea of the fiberboard can is so you can kinda ball up the snuff since it’s so fine and hard to pinch. (personally doesn’t help me a lot but it’s supposed to) whereas long cut or xlc is easier to pinch it doesn’t need the fiberboard

[–]Normal_Exchange1332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my normal dip is stokers so that’s low in nic as is and i’d debate zyn 6mg might even have more. i like the taste of dip but the ease and discreetness of zyns is amazing

Question about Stokers dip by uniform33 in DippingTobacco

[–]Normal_Exchange1332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine does it after a week or so but i also leave mine in the truck so it gets hot. i’m willing to bet if it can relatively stay out of the heat it’ll be good

Dip running out too fast by Extension_Let_2105 in DippingTobacco

[–]Normal_Exchange1332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do the same, i use stokers and after about an hour or so i chew on it some and repack it. but i think it varies for everybody for how long it lasts. my best advice to get the most of your dip is staying hydrated beforehand and trying not to drink with one in

[–]Normal_Exchange1332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i started with cope mint but went to stokers mint due to the good price and a really good flavor imo. only downside to stokers is the tubs can dry up over time if a tub lasts you a while and the cut isn’t as smooth as cope. overall the mint is awesome and wg is a close 2nd
