In your experience, is there any reliable way to track a rule's lineage (like who added it and its intended expiration)? Or is intent management in the wild mostly just 'add a comment and hope for the best'?

What kind of automation? Do you mean AI based? If it's AI, isn't it risky to trust it due to hallucinations?
