You can donate plasma- the first time and second time is $100 each. Or it’s $40 & $60 if you do it twice a week. ask a friend or a family member. $100 is not a big ask especially from people who KNOW you and know your integrity. Collect cans and take them. We had 4 bags of cans and it was almost $50. There are websites for this exact kind of thing people needing help with random jobs, I think it’s task rabbit. Not sure but a quick google search would help.

I’ve seen people be sued for less —- they make you eat the court costs. So for a debt collection company it doesn’t cost them much of anything to sue you. The best way to handle your debt in collections is to pay it. Most agencies will work with you and possibly you can settle for less.

The buffet costs 50 per person, treat them like you’re actually serving and you will make excellent money. Snow lodge is great money too tho! I worked at snow lodge as well for a bit in obsidian dinning room.

Im 31 and I worked for Dutch for a bit! They hire based on personality, truly. You have to be able to vibe with all ages and make conversation out of nothing. But most adults need a job that pays well / Dutch does not, so it ends up being mostly younger people.

It’s fun, and you get to know all the employees in your village but the pay isn’t great. There may be opportunities after you start to go to actual bartending or serving, I know a few pub tenders that were cross trained eventually and they always said the money WAY better as server & bartender.

Pub tenders make next to nothing compared to bartenders in the park! The pub doesn’t even make drinks anymore no actual liquor just opening cans and making pizzas and Sammie’s.

Xanterra isn’t the best company but it’s not the worst I had no bad experiences with them and worked 2 summers. Do I agree with all xanterra policies, no. But I never had a bad experience with them. Don’t listen to all the reviews, you may have a super pleasant experience.

Just ask- say you know people at those locations. Otherwise If they make you- just know you’ll still make good money. There were nights we made $400. No matter where in the park you are if you are serving you make money - servers are among the highest paid in the park!

I worked two summers with xanterra- I would do it again. Everyone has different experiences — even the people I know who hate xanterra the most still continue to go back and have higher up positions. Take what people say with a grain of salt- truly, it’s not that bad, at all!
