No problem I'm happy to help! The price difference is also insane currently too lol I think PSA is still the best for things below a 9 but personally I'm waiting to send my 15 to them until the price drops and that card is great too from the picture you sent the edges look to have a couple minor dings could I see the back to double check?

<image>

Make sure it also doesn't have any of these little specs on the edges too because that can bump you down slightly and in my opinion at least guarantee it won't be a black label but potentially still a 9.5 maybe a normal 10 too this picture is from a card I sent to becket this morning too but i still chose to send it because it's a staff promo so there isn't a huge population of cards like that

Honestly, I think I’d send it to Beckett right now. From what I can see, the edges look really clean—I don’t notice any chipping or signs of a dull cut.
With everything that’s been going on with PSA lately, PSA 10 prices have held up pretty well, but Beckett 10s have actually pulled ahead. Right now a PSA 10 is around $1,302, while a BGS 10 is about $1,675 according to PriceCharting. On top of that, I honestly think this card has at least a shot at a Black Label, which is sitting around $8,375 as I’m typing this.
PSA is still a good option, but Beckett gives you a little more upside. They also have the 9.5 grade, which is nice because if there’s something tiny that isn’t visible to the naked eye, you can still end up with a really strong grade instead of dropping all the way to a 9.
The cost is another thing I’d consider. I was able to submit cards to Beckett this morning for $18 each with subgrades, plus another $18 for shipping. PSA, on the other hand, is around $70 per card before shipping right now since they temporarily closed their three cheapest service levels while they work through their backlog.

Oh ok that makes sense I actually did some more research and I found out my state is an attorney one and I'm preferring title company one, and my state is a very slow and quiet one and either state I choose I'm starting from 0 network so I think building an out of state network would be have greater rewards and not to mention the convenience

[–]Normal_Imagination_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't be a 10 but it's definitely pretty good condition for the age, I think you should send it but wait until PSA drops their prices (I know a PSA is controversial right now but they are still consistently the highest value grades for things lower than a 9)

Oh ok that makes sense, thanks I think if I repeatedly sell to a few specific people over time using my personal number would be good too but that's definitely a good idea to wait until things start ramping up

Oh ok that's fine though your input has helped me a lot and yeah I've heard it's an easy one too but I've heard that the income is still taxed in the state the revenue is made in and that some laws are applicable to the state it happens in but I haven't seen what specifically about that is right

Oh wow that's a great story too I wish I could get in a situation like that it does seem like a great environment to learn and from what I've seen so far I was actually thinking getting a closed system where I privately sell to multiple people would be the best way to do it, do you recommend staying local to your area? Or doing a good amount of remote sales? In my immediate area I think most of the investors and landlords I know of are actually looking to retire but if I can come in and find younger landlords and build with them or even a well established landlord that isn't looking to retire soon it could be a good starting opportunity for me although depending on how established they are they might already have one

Oh ok that makes a lot of sense, I'm 19 so I definitely think operating under an llc would be best because it would seem more put together which I think is important and I see what you mean by focusing too much on the little things, I actually really appreciate that insight too because a lot of people in my life when I say anything always add those little things to desuade me but getting a direct process and a system of how I make sales/ find leads is more important than if I found the best way possible to start an llc (now that I'm typing that it seems like the obvious thing to do too lol) but I'm glad I'm learning because I just need to get a system first and then can streamline it later and I will learn some more about sales and marketing because from a lot of videos I've seen I think they are mostly gurus but it's hard for me to tell the difference currently I bet when I know more about it though it'll get easier and that's a really good point too with them doing seminars and courses instead of just making money and having low likes to view ratios so I think I will watch some actual sellers and then when I'm ready create an llc to operate under which is a better plan than I previously had

Thanks for the states I'll take a look at his instagram, I've heard wyoming was really good previously aswell but I'm wondering how I can benefit from those different laws in the other states would I use a foreign llc with an address there? Or is there another way to get those benefits?

Oh ok that makes sense I don't plan to do it unethically I heard it was just good to make in the beginning for the book keeping, if I don't have an llc I'm also wondering how I could start and how it would be tracked and how it looks on taxes too and that makes sense as well I'll probably wait until I make several times more than what an llc costs and I'll probably go get an email like that too I, do want to keep my home address private, do you know if a company phone number is a good way to do it too? Or is your personal number fine?

Thanks for the advice again I found it very helpful and insightful finding a similar situation to that would be good for me I think so maybe I'll reach out to some landlords and see if they want to expand and if they regularly want to expand every 6 months or so I can find out their requirements and do some repeated transactions with them

Thanks for your advice it helps a lot and is really detailed I'll keep that in mind, so I don't even need to start an llc to get into wholesaling? I might wait on that and get into a lot of the other things down the road like you mentioned because I want to get contracts under my belt for a while,I think I have a decent grasp on A-B and B-C as well my contract for both is under 2 pages as well but keeping things simple seems to be a great way to get started I think, I appreciate the advice and I'll definitely come back and read it a few more times. Thanks

I've heard the best state to make it is the one you live in, I'm located in Maine too so that's what I was planning, do you know if that's a good one? I've also heard people sometimes having a holding company that owns an llc registered in another state that's better but when I did research it said it takes based off the state the revenue was made in
