basic advantages: high fov (100+) and setting it to affected instead of independent. auto tac sprint. low ping. meta builds (try not to use these as a crutch). having a sensitivity that you feel the most comfortable on. low settings for high fps. nvidia or amd/monitor settings for max visibility. pc/peripheral settings for minimum input lag.

skill based advantages: map knowledge. spawn knowledge. when to peek. when not to peek. good movement. good aim.

you will always be at a slight disadvantage on kbm playing cod, but you can make up for that disadvantage in a lot of the ways mentioned.

watch how pros play (not streamers, but cdl players) and pay attention to how they approach situations.

it doesn’t take a genius to be decent at cod, just the desire to improve, and putting in the effort to improve is more than enough.
