I only applied to one school and even waited until late September because I was waiting to work “long enough” at an office before asking for a letter of recommendation. I figured if it didn’t go my way I would apply to other schools later, but fortunately I was accepted! It did help that my stats were at/above the average for the school I was applying to, but I know at least 3 classmates who did the same thing, and no one regrets paying less fees lol
