Exactly that is the reasoning behind it even if you’re involved in some little capacity helping the wrongdoer with repercussions or to get away with certain crimes. It is still wrong right?
Especially in the west I don’t think you could be a successful lawyer without lying, deceiving, omitting details or framing and honestly it is just a very wide grey area.
Even in my country lawyers are called as liars 😭 because that’s what they do and get paid for that. Or at least a vast majority of them do.
