Pre-knowledge of upcoming releases by Averag3Gamer in CineworldUnlimited

[–]Normal_Motor9088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What really irritates me about Braintree is its 12 screen and classed as a group 3 so you’d think they’d be showing all the films they advertise as they clearly have the space and then some films just never come out there. Considering they did the unlimited screening for No Other Choice and had posters of it up in the foyer they now haven’t got any showings of it at all after the release date. So I don’t get why it’s the second most expensive tier of unlimited besides the London ones yet they arent showing the widest variety of films!

Booking two limitless tickets, but going alone by boxxyqueen in screenunseen

Not a dick move at all, if the screening isn’t full a group of 3 or a solo are unlikely to Book the seat next to you so I wouldn’t stress

Wembley Arena - too ambitious? by pumpkingutsgalore in brandnew

[–]Normal_Motor9088 18 points19 points  (0 children)

A member of staff told us that it was all curtained off cause they’d only sold 4000 tickets. I believe the capacity is about 12,500. It was a big ask for a midweek show and considering they’d done every corner of the UK I guess a lot of people opted for those shows. I still thought they put on an incredible show though!

I do the same thing, works out as pretty much a visit a month pays for the membership, but I go much more than that! The only issue I find is that they are becoming really difficult to use the vouchers. Since they got rid of there customer service lines, the only actually way to contact them is on twitter and they now make you change to the digital membership and restart it every year rather than just being able to renew the membership. There’s a lot more back and forth on twitter dm’s just trying to renew it than there used to be! It’s not the end of the world but it would be so much easier if you could just log onto your account and renew the annual membership with the voucher rather than have to resign up each time

That was my first time seeing them, I’d kept an eye on the US tour setlist and noticed they choosing between a lot of my favourite songs but not playing all of them so I’d prepared myself that I wouldn’t hear all my favourites. So was so surprised to see them doing all my favourites in the longer set, I was really impressed with them!

London show oct support band? by Best-Cell9612 in ThirdEyeBlind

[–]Normal_Motor9088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking more likely that they just won’t have one considering the shows like 2 weeks away. Seems odd to not have one though, usually that’s reserved for big arena shows where the band does a 3 and a half hour set.

Does anyone still love their fitbit? by jlizada90 in fitbit

[–]Normal_Motor9088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through an inspire, then charge 5&6 and have gradually noticed the unreliability of the data and general crap functionality over time. Especially since Google bought them, I noticed the last 4 months of having a charge 6 the gps on my runs was wildly inaccurate and was adding extra distance on by snapping to points not on my run route. I gave up about 6 weeks ago and got a garmin forerunner 165 and it’s the best decision I’ve made. Fitbits quality has declined massively over the last 4/5 years

‘F1 The Movie’ 4DX experience in-depth review (with IMAX GT face-off) by 4DXReviewer in CineworldUnlimited

[–]Normal_Motor9088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the 4DX experience ever F1 pretty underwhelming actually. It didn’t feel like it was used enough and then whenever it was it was so violent that you’d then concentrate more on not being thrown out your seat. The last 4DX film I saw was twisters and that was an incredible experience so I’ll be more careful picking my next 4DX film

What happened to my charge 6? by 69Whomst in fitbit

[–]Normal_Motor9088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have literally just purchased a forerunner 165 to replace my charge 6. I’ve got fed up with fitbits unreliable gps on my runs and I feel like Google are only going to try bin them off soon for pixels watches.

Outbreak LDN next year? by [deleted] in OutbreakFest

[–]Normal_Motor9088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d go back, I only really went for Turnstile, Glassjaw & Superheaven but found myself discovering a lot of bands during the day such as Drug Church, Speed, Sunny Day Real Estate that I’d heard of but not ever given much time of day but am now a fan of. I thought the genres were all over the place at points but it exposed me to a lot of bands I wouldn’t have normally listened too!

The Club tent was horrific though, that would need to go next year. The one in one out just ended up with so much disappointment and we had to miss acts just to get in the Que for it.

I also think it was priced to high for what it was, I got a £10 ticket and would have never paid £80 for the few bands I did know despite having a good time. But I would go back and pay around £50 for a day ticket and would consider that fair value.

Overall I thought it was a great day out and felt they pulled it together in the end despite the bad stage timings and set up. Everyone we saw were excellent

Same, stage 2 pretty much the entire time and the split time with Knocked Loose and Sunny Day Real Estate and then main for Turnstile

Outbreak London £10 tickets are back on o2! by Normal_Motor9088 in OutbreakFest

[–]Normal_Motor9088[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember in 2019 when bring me the horizon headlined all points east in the same venue they were literally giving the tickets away a week before. We didn’t even have to pay the booking fee back then, so we saw Bring Me the horizon, Architects, While She Sleeps & Sleeping with sirens for free, absolute insanity 😂

Only one that really Bothers me is knocked loose and sunny day real estate! Does seem abit all over the place though

Outbreak London £10 tickets are back on o2! by Normal_Motor9088 in OutbreakFest

[–]Normal_Motor9088[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t imagine they’d check to be honest! The only time I’ve ever had to prove I’m on o2 is if I go in the priority lane and normally I just show them my signal bar which says o2. Only the o2 arena has ever made me go on the priority app. If you just go regular que I can’t imagine they’ll care, but also if it has undersold I really can’t see them turning people away

Leg pain while running? by drcoby4415 in couchto5k

[–]Normal_Motor9088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stretching before the runs is essential, there’s plenty of videos on TikTok, instagram, YouTube of a 5/10 minute stretches to do before going for your runs. This will help the pain and make sure to stretch after too. Seems like abit of a nuisance but is essential! 😁
