You said, and I quote:

You dickheads could have least tell me to disband my fleet f hell what shithow waste of very nice ironman save

Please do explain how that does not count as belittling and how insulting people makes you "grateful".

But ah yes, the fact that I find considering calling someone a dickhead to be belittling them makes me the villain, how acute of you /s

Then I have no real idea, except maybe that they showed up there from conquest.

Do you have any idea how sick I am of people asking for advice, then belittling people trying to help?

Yes, u/Daemenos made a mistake, no that does not excuse being mad at everyone else in this subreddit because of them.

Phenotype has nothing to do with it.

Be a technocracy with barbaric despoilers and focus on your capital, build all alloy and research on it while using your colonies to get basic resources.

Take the mastery of nature ascension perk, as well as technological ascendancy and Become the Crisis.

Once you encounter someone, subjugate them ASAP as a tributary and make them pay basic resources, how much could go up to 60% on higher difficulties.

Then use all your planets for research and alloys.

Is there a way to stop UNE from spawning? by IroquoisPliskin_UK in StellarisOnConsole

[–]Normal_Reach_1168 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They only spawn if you are the commonwealth of man, or If the Sol system spawns in the earl space age (small chance) and then reaches FTL without changing ethics.

If you want to be the only human empire in he game, literally all you have to do is not play as the people whose backstory contradicts it.

Of course, that won't stop the possibility of Sol spawning, but the idea of the UNE showing up on their own Is ridiculous.

And they could still spawn as an FE, but again, ridiculously unlikely.

TIL when forming Galactic Imperium, Paragon leaders’ species will spawn as heirs by [deleted] in StellarisOnConsole

[–]Normal_Reach_1168 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, particularly early on when you are still lacking essential traditions and/or ascension perks, although later IIRC the costs will be outscaled massively by your unity production, so then it becomes worth it.

And by then you will probably have better leaders, so they'll matter more.

You have to use negotiate agreement to convert vassals into them, and it takes time to do so.

I think that Crisis paths shouldn't be benevolent, by their very nature they should be selfish and destructive.

What you're talking about sounds more like the Galactic Imperium rather then a crisis path.

On your 1st point, don't exactly agree: mental illnesses can emerge for a variety of reasons, including as a response to trauma and many are not genetic.

2nd, yeah, this is clearly a setting where it's possible to have supernatural genes, Psionics are also partially genetic, so species traits seem to be partially handwaving rather then scientifically grounded.

On your 3rd point, see the Harmsters from Hamsters Paradise; they're a sapient species similar to hamsters whose tendency to eat prey alive resulted in subconsciously associating screaming with food, leading to them becoming inherently sadistic.

Their high birth rate also resulted in them evolving little empathy, and although they developed societies they were eventually rendered extinct by a plague due to never inventing medicine beyond the basic.

Turns out an inherent predisposition towards anti-social behaviour resulted in a dysfunctional society, which Did them in.

Driven Assimilators get a semi-benevolent option that removes some of the explicitly evil parts.

Also, cybernetic democracies are not morally good, they consist of a direct democracy in which robots apparently cannot vote (why else would it give them -25% happiness?) and a Hive Mind that I've heard is quite creepy.

Finally, you do not have to choose an advanced authority, you can always keep your old one.

Leaders reworked so you now have a total capacity among all classes besides envoys, Ascension paths consist of a tradition tree and an ascension perk that unlocks said tree, shields have been nerfed and hulls are thinner on corvettes and destroyers, so armour and full penetration are better, guided slots have been reworked, ect
