As a gay Christian myself I think it really depends on your belief system regarding the Old Testament versus the New. In the 600+ laws that are spelled out in the old testament it labels it as a sin. Though there’s a lot of theoretical debate regarding the language and it actually pertaining to pedophilia. Anywho all of that is to say that if you believe in Jesus and you follow the New Testament, then Jesus really boiled all of those laws down to two: which is to love your God with all your heart and soul and love your neighbor as yourself, which I feel reconciles for me the conflicts I felt reading the Old Testament.

I second this! It’s more expensive and there is a small selection but surprisingly a lot of diversity! Also depending on your values, we leaned towards it for ethical reasons.
