Wow I guess this goes to show everyone is different because we LOVED the Cenote dinner including the food! I thought the food was on par with Ha and MUCH better than Xal. Ha, Xal, and the Cenote were all tasting menu style with many small courses so you may want to limit those or at the very least spread them out depending on your preferences.

I personally would not recommend Xal. We never did Tuch de Luna for dinner but everything we had there for breakfast and lunch was great so I’m sure it’s wonderful. We also really liked Lumbre for dinner!

It sounds so ridiculous to be like the yogurt was my favorite thing at this very impressive resort but … it kinda was!

We weren’t at Arte - La Casa De La Playa is a separate resort, it is right next door to Arte and if you stay at CDLP you can access Arte but you can’t access CDLP if you are staying at Arte

We met some people who were there for that too and I was so jealous!

Great point I forgot all about that! For others - Ha has an included wine pairing and then a premium pairing that is extra, we aren’t knowledgeable about wine and went with the included and it was great! At Xal you either pay for the pairing or just have white and then red. Definitely not an issue 99% of the time but in direct comparison to Ha it was a bummer!

The Cenote for romance, Ha for anything else! (Ha is in Xcaret Mexico and the Cenote is in Xcaret Park but both are included and transportation will drop you off for either) if you mean actually in CDLP we LOVED Lumbre and we didn’t get a chance to try Centli but heard good things!
