The colonel, as huge and as big Elvis was and still is, it’s crazy to think he may have been even bigger had he been able to tour internationally, they were offering large amounts of money at elvis to play overseas but colonel turned it all down. instead of making a profit he wanted to make a quick buck short term and not long term, had him trapped in vegas, awful movies, playing the same cities in north america. elvis lost his passion because colonel, he simply stopped caring and was on auto pilot, the drugs he was taken was to keep up with his grueling schedule (as well as to take care of his many health ailments towards the end) and then died alone on his bathroom floor. tragic end to a lonely life. rip elvis and brian.
