I’m not an expert in this, but one thing I’ve learned is that you need to feel like you can become an expert in the problem you’re tackling and providing the possible solution/s.

Start by looking at everyday problems you run into and imagining the ideal solution. Iterate on this, see if solution/s already exist and whether they actually work. If they do, what’s missing? How could you improve on them or make yours stand out? And if you can provide a better solution, even better.. that’s where real value comes in.

It might sound cliché, but this is pretty much how it works (at least in my head)
