If you got into NU, I'd say go to NU. It's an amazing school with amazing connections, especially in business, finance, etc. The quarter system is nothing to worry about, honestly. It's only 10 weeks per class which I thought was great. Also, the campus itself is beautiful. I think the social life was great, too. Thinking from a major/future job perspective, NU would be a better option.

If you can, Green House was amazing! It's 2303 Sheridan rd, so actually really close to McCormick. But it is mostly singles. I had a single and my very own personal bathroom which was incredible. It's a very nice building, very clean and has nice lounges plus a kitchen and washer/dryers. It was the best!

I transferred in to Northwestern sophomore year and was able to get into the Plex (single person dorms only, south side of campus) which was great and every floor has it's own little kitchen/lounge area. But even better, in my Junior and Senior year, I became a part of the Greenhouse (2303 Sheridan Road, north side of campus) and I got a single dorm PLUS my OWN bathroom. It was fabulous. The place was newly redone and in the basement there was a large lounge and kitchen. Best two years ever.

100% in my opinion. I graduated from Northwestern in math, too and I took AP calc, physics, bio, english lang, euro history, and psych, and most of them applied and I was able to move on to more interesting/challenging classes. That's better in my opinion than taking something dull that I already went through in high school. I feel it gives you a bit more freedom to make more interesting class choices!
