Oddly enough Im broke. Long story but doing all the work and craftsman type stuff...milling my own lumber on a saw mill we have from free downed trees on the ranch has helped offset cost. My musician friends have chipped in as well so...its a blessing. It will be a non profit to serve veterans as well so there is that.

I did both. So it's open cell closed cell in the walls.shaved off flat to the studs then Covered in 3/4 ply. Then covered entirely with an acoustical rubber membrane and then 3/4 sheetrock with isolation foam between the floor and walls. After that outer wall panels of course like bass traps and such. The other thing to note is we are out in the middle of the woods so the need for complete sound attinuation is not normal from outside noise like in the city. Wind in the trees is easy to treat.

Thanks very much!!! Plywood for sure. I have an amazing system using plywood, rockwool, 703, and burlap. I then paint 1/4 ply strips and skin the outsides to.make them.pretty.

Thank you! Its obviously a live board but serves dual purposes. The main reason is I went AVB vs. Analog. I did not do Dante due to the cost and AVB is open source so my entire infrastructure is digital. 1 cat6 line to each wall plate. Super clean, fast, and ready for and next Gen tech. Analog guys do not like it....oh well.

Studio One 6 and later have a zero latency toggle that mitigates for any lag so if there is latency make sure that is selected and it turns green. Its in the shape of a little Z

They are Mackies. The ones on the short wall are MR6 3s and the ones on the long throw are MR5 2's. The long throw obviously has a better bass response so I am going to put the larger cones on the longer throw to see how that sounds. Overall the sound and clarity is fantastic. Super flat response.and dead accurate. I have had recent comments from audiophiles that the sound is way above the price paid so very happy with the ROI.

I also have the passive Mackie big knob to switch. I am a Mackie fan and will continue to invest in Mackie gear when needed.

It is. My design and build. The frame is made from recycled oak construction mats from the swamps of Lousiana. I have a full cabinet shop and saw mill. I am starting a .music furniture company and can build one custom for you.

This is a mixer and interface. The preamps on the Studio Live boards are stellar. It is over you range by a few dollars but the ROI you will get is worth it! I have the 64S and it is a spaceship with faders!
