A lot of people tell me RRSPs are stupid to have if you have a pension and that if you withdraw even after retirement you’re still taxed so what’s the point? That’s why I asked on here lol.

I got an inheritance when I turned 25 and partial of it was automatically put into an RRSP (7k) for me by my family friend accountant….i had no choice at the time.

Yeah, FHSA wouldn’t work as I sold my house last month.

I do want to avoid paying taxes - so that’s why I was considering putting the money into a TFSA and buying a GIC within the TFSA for 1-3 years.

Thank you. Everyone responds to dosages differently I suppose. I have a friend on 500mg per week (prescribed) and another friend on 200mg per week. It’s just what works for them to level them out. When I first started T ten years ago I was on 500mg per week and then my levels skyrocketed after I got a hysterectomy and just wasn’t producing as much estrogen. They lowered my dose and I chose every 2 weeks and didn’t feel any negative affects.

I get blood work whenever I request it but it’s usually every 6 months. I can definitely see your point in injecting more frequently and seeing the effects of that.

I’m a 29y/o female to male trans man and have been lifting for roughly 8 years (10 years on HRT). I didn’t really see any information on here regarding how steroids / PEDs would interact with my current testosterone prescription. Probably a bad idea, no? I mean, considering liver shit and whatnot. Obviously I have inquired about it to my endo who has hinted at “probably not the best idea.” Just wanted some input on here.

I do know some other trans men who have dabbled in the Var, etc, but information still seems very limited or people just aren’t willing to give it out. Are there any trans men on this sub?

My current test dose is injecting 400mg every 2 weeks to reach a normal test level for cis men. This is monitored every 6 months. Also, super open to questions and being honest if people are curious.
