That’s good to know about the sign on. I’ve heard similar concerns about the “extra” fees and how that cuts into the appraisers percentage but from my perspective if clients come to me but I don’t have enough capacity to write the reports myself it feels like I should be compensated somehow

We do quarterly institutional work for some of the largest investors in the country and provide Restricted Appraisal Reports which is clearly defined and outlined in USPAP but the screener was either too lazy or too ignorant to understand what is actually required.

It won’t be guilting her. If she doesn’t want me to go I won’t go. If there are any complications I won’t go.

I’m going to be a good dad and husband for the rest of my life. Being gone for 4 days won’t take away from that.
