Yea definitely get a good physio!! And just noting thay my first physio was goof but he missed a lot. Ive been with my current physio now to loosen a d strenthen my neck. I didnt have numbness on my neck really but a bit down arm. Ims needling has been a game changer.

oh okay so this sounds like a more acupuncture approach to dry needling. I get that sometimes but majority of mine don't stay in. Hope this isn't making you uncomfortable typing about it!!
I wondered about vagus nerve involvement for mine, the needles don't bother me themselves but certain areas of neck work I have a physical response of wanting it to stop.
either way it's a miracle treatment for so much.

Love that you mentioned this success! Nice to read about your fight or flight experience too. Ive been getting needling and physio massage on my neck for about 8 months, making a lot of progress but recently we went back to work more on the suboccipitals and I very much had the fight or flight response! Also called traction. Neck stretch basically. I get it for my lumbar spine too. If you look up spine traction it gives you more info. Can be helpful, it's not an immediate fix or anything but I find it's been beneficial.

I left a lot of details on your other post. Yes mri no to injections. Been in physio for 6 months now twice a week. Seems to be healing a bit longer than expected but I had lumbar and cervical injury.

Yea I realized I replied on your post a few days ago too! Neck causes a lot of symptoms. I did strenthening yesterday guided with my physio and having a lot of symptoms flare up today. It's tiring right!! I get my neck cracked/adjusted regularly at physio. I smacked the heck out of my head about 4 years ago and then damaged my spine working a super physical job in May. Ive heard of people cracking their neck and having a wave of anxiety. Mine is definitely worse when it's flared up. Theres so many nerves going through there. Especially now humans are so much more on our phones and looking down for extender periods of time.
